Yeah!!! A great spanish film about a satanic cult directed by Jose Ramón Larraz. Plenty of creepy and atmospheric moments and a lot of nudity and sex scenes. With the beauty Helga Line making a sinister and pervert role. Black Candles has a reputation as one of Larraz’s worst films mostly likely because it’s one of the more blatantly sleazy pieces in his filmography. It tends to be as much softcore porn as horror, though Larraz still creates enough of a creepy atmosphere to make it interesting.
